Anyone knows about a decent dvd transfer?

As I'm trying to get rid of all my lousy VHS HK-movies, I'd really like to find this and it sequel on a decent dvd.

A company called Tai Seng released both titles on DVD and they are excellent.
The quality is good, and there are several interesting language options. The box art is also better, in my opinion. Anchor Bay Entertainment also released the films, and they are equally good, although the image quality seems to suffer a little.

Also, if you grab the Anchor Bay release, I would try to get a new one and not a used old one. If in doubt, get the one that says it has a mono soundtrack and not 5.1.

Anchor Bay dealt with a company that was going to remaster the soundtrack to use all 5 channels but in doing so, they removed much of the old music and replaced it with songs from american films.

I think I saw the Anchor Bay release. I got it from Netflix, so I didn't get to see the box. Some of the music was just a harmonica, or a piano at other parts. While I was watching it I kept thinking of how wierd it was for a Hong Kong movie to use such western music.

Is this the original music?
