Dumb and Dumber

I think this this movie is horrible and I'm a huge DePalma fan. The funny thing about it is while I watched it I realized Dumb and Dumber totally ripped off this film, in so many ways. If you've never seen this film but you have seen the hilarious D&D all you have to know is that it takes a lot from this terrible film.

It is funny how opinions differ. I think it is not so much the movie, but how the moovie impacts each of us. Personally, I think Wise Guys is a great movie, "goes straight to the funny bone", but that is me, and how I feel about it. I never call a movie terrible simply because I do not like it, because I know others might appreciate it.

I agree with you on 2 points, Bamboo. I also have always thought this was a funny and well made movie, and your point about calling movies terrible was well made too.

I can't remember what the second poster said but I remember he not only hated the movie but he was really rude to me because he disagreed with me. An Administrator actually deleted the post.
