Most obvious goof ever!

Okay, we see Moe and Harry repaint Mr. Acavano's car pink and then they wreck the hell out of it to the point where it's barely recognizable. Then at the end of the movie when the mob goes to kill Moe, we obviously see them pull up in front of his house in the Caddy, and its in the condition that it originally was- sparkling white, shiny and without a single dent on it anywhere. Assuming only a few days has passed from the time Harry is "shot" to his funeral, I doubt the car could be fixed up in that condition (if even possible), and especially that fast. I also doubt that Acavano was able to buy another '59 Cadillac exactly like it, including the white convertible roof.

Great movie though.. I especially like the scene when they're passing around the tickets and Harry has that goofy little smile on his face. lol

Yea, I'll be honest I never even thought twice about it: he simply has the means & the money to get another car; one that's probably not too uncommon in the Jersey mob scene either.

Same here - I just assumed he bought another, similar car.

Wait a minute... who am I here?

The worst is when they first introduce the Pink Caddy and there is a "trailer" shot of Joe and Danny driving the car. The funny thing is, the reflection off the side of the car is so clear that you can see the "trailer" that they used to get the shot... It's an 80's panel station wagon with the tailgate down and the camera sticking out the back of the car...

Lol, I remember the white car arriving at the house but didn't give it a second thought. Like most here apparently I just assumed it was a new car he bought.

A friend of mine from New Jersey was in Atlantic City when they were filming. She recalls how all the scratches on the side of the pink cadillac were painted on to show more on screen. Wish I would have been there that day. Love this movie. Hilarious and underrated.

You mean to say you don't believe Frankie the Fixer could convince a body shop owner to have the car looking like new by the end of the day. If the guy didn't agree to do it at first he definitely would after Frank pulled out his nutcracker.
