I seem to recall back when this movie was released that there was an awesome trailer for it that had Prince flinging a ballroom's doors open as he walks into a party wearing the one strap shirt he's wearing on the cover of the soundtrack.

His entourage is following him in and he's strutting about as if he owned the place. This was set to the tune of Mountains. Did this trailer exist? It wasn't included in the DVD and was just wondering if anyone else recalls it.

This scene isn't even in the movie.

Not too sure about that..but the trailer that's on the DVD had a buncha scenes in the movie that was cut from it.

But then again a lot of movie trailers are like that b/c sometimes the trailer is put out way b4 the movie is finished & some scenes that were in it are probably cut by time it's official release.

That's similar to an old music video of Prince's (either When Doves Cry or Let's Go Crazy), Prince is seen punching a tall black guy. The only tall black guy that remotely looks like the person getting punched is Jelly Bean Johnson from The Time - it was definately a clip from Purple Rain, however, it was not shown in the movie.

If UTCM ever gets released on BluRay, they should have a deleted scenes section.
