Filming location question.

I've looked in vain for this, so It's probably a question for a native Texan, or someone who worked on the movie.

Where is the wide street that he steps through the screen onto, at 3:53. It is shown a few other times in the film, day and night, and is fictitiously referred to as the Virgil, TX, parade location, but it is not even the same place as McKinney, TX, the real parade location.
