Kevin, Charity, and Torey...

I wish they'd added Charity in there; she was a very funny, wacky kid in the book and I loved how she twisted soft-hearted Torey around her finger and often kept Torey a little off-guard. I think also she indirectly helped a fearful Kevin deal with his many fears and his horrible past in her frank way, esp. one scene in the book where Torey, Kevin, and Charity are at the indoor pool and Kevin is beginning to overcome his fear of water.
