What Happened to Blaster?

He's there when they're on Earth and doesn't seem to have died in the Galvatron attack, but when they all take off for space, he disappears altogether. WTF?!

They left Earth in a scramble, they really didn't have time to plan who did what. I'm sure it was much more of writing follies, but ultimately it is very explainable they left in a rush and he didn't make the ship in time.

I'm a huge Blaster fan, he was my guy back in the day, I was a little upset he wasn't part of the crew from then on out.

I guess he lives. He appears in season 3 of the series set after the movie.

Blaster stayed behind to rebuild Autobot City along with Hound and Sunstreaker (both of whom were aboard Prime's shuttle) along with the Dinobot Snarl who was in a few brief scenes as well.

yeah the one poster was right it was such utter confusion Blaster and Snarl ran for cover some place.
They got out of cover only to find the others had left. No way EVERYONE else died. HOw could Suntreaker and hound die? They did not see any action at all. The helped re-build with Blaster. I am guessing some of the guys found Rot Rod being the leader as not all that great of idea, and kind of went off and did their own thing.

Supposedly, Inferno was suppose to appear in this scene as well though they decided to not animate him. That is the reason why his voice actor is listed in the credits. His lines were recorded but his cel was never animated. Sunstreaker and Hound does re-appear in the Headmasters series though eerily Prowl also emerges from the grave. At that time, the Japanese were un-aware of who died in the series/movie for the most part. They knew Prime died but they never knew how, so he was shown being shot in the midst of a war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Two years later (1989), the movie finally premiered in Japan. "Whoops, that's how he died."
