Soundwave's loyalty to Megatron

"Don't leave me Soundwave."
"As you command, Megatron."

For me, one of the most touching moments in the movie, regardless that they're the bad guys.

Really disappointed then to see Soundwave voting I for the survival of the fittest (knowing that Megatron will get chucked).

Anyone else share either of these sentiments or is it just me?

Got the 30th anv blu ray today, absolutely fantastic.

Soundwave may be loyal, but he's not stupid. It was touching seeing Soundwave rescue a badly damaged Megatron from the battlefield, but if he did actually protested against Megatron being throwned out he would've been tossed out as well. He's got bad reputation with the other Decepticons as it is for being a snitch and blackmailer.

I was always a big Soundwave guy. He was a decepticon and a villian but he still potrayed some "good guy" qualities. He was loyal to Megatron and protective of his casettes.

Soundwave superior, Constructicons inferior.

Soundwave got his rewards as galvatron right hand man. Definitely one of the most popular characters in transformers.

Cyclonus was his right hand man.

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.

true, but soundwave was still in the inner circle.

I would say Soundwave was 4th in command, after Cyclonus and Scourge.

Legend has it that Soundwave's plan was to take charge of the Decepticons and then go back for Megatron, but it didn't make it into the film. Maybe in a novelization perhaps...
