Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood team up again for a remake.
Clint in Kirk's role. That would be sooo awesome!

Yes but you know that remakes never do the original film justice any. The remake turns out to be a flop to be honest with you about it.

Yeah i agree nine times out of ten remakes usually just turn things upside down or inside out as far as plotting or they do the real damage and make sure the only thing that it has with the original movie is the title.

The initial recteption to Scarface (1983) wasn't good at all, actually. It slowly grew into becoming a classic, but that took some time. It wasn't really successful in that sense.

Of course there are some films that become really big with everyone and others that take time for it to become a classic. What you are saying makes perfect sense.
