i love every aspect of this movie and i wish they still made movies like this

It is a cool movie, but I have 2 confess, I only acquired the video/DVD, from a friend, as I'm slightly obsessed w/ Brooke Mccarter! I even have 3 copies of The Lost Boys.

He does look pretty cute in Thrashin' though, I gotta admit!
I also like the song that's playing in the club (the scene w/ Brooke wearing those "gorgeous" yellow pants!

It's a typical 80's feel good movie, that practically matches everything a teenage kid goes through, regarding fitting in, and friends in general.

Oh my lord. Great movie but him??? he is such a loser!
Monk and Hook should have beat him and the ramp locals some more

They do make movies like this still... Its called "Airborne" :) Same exact dam story but its a rollerblading film. Its pretty good too :)

Thrashin is a classic though. I was so amazingly happy when it was on DVD. Been listening to the chili peppers ever since the "Thrash Bash" scene :)

Absolutely agree! I saw it for the first time ever today, and loved it.

Unfortunately we'll most likely never see something so cool and sexy as the 80's movies again. The shallow casting, where they went for the hottest babes and the coolest dudes. The amazing music (maybe the most important part). And not to mention the simple, positive and naive stories.

If it was made today it would have been totally different, we wouldn't have the style and the music. The only hints of 80's movies we see today are parodies, and that is sad as hell.

Totally agree. So deviously sexy in such a young, hot, innocent teenage way. Gotta love those type of 80's movies... or at least those aspects of that era.

This movie perfectly captures why i love 80's teen movies. And sherilyn and pamela are JUST WOW! If a man was allowed 2 wives they would be the best combination ever.
