Thread

Every time I watch this film, I tend to make at least one new discovery, or notice something that I didn't notice before. It's, quite obviously and predictably, one of my favourite Quay films.

Most recently, I finally noticed the connection between the screws and the thread. I'm not sure why, but it didn't click into place the first few times around.

Has anyone read the short story? And if so, know where I might be able to get my hands on it? It's been something of a loose thread for me... XD
