I am glad I decided to watch all the old Star Trek movies. They were real quality.

This one (Voyage) was just so enjoyable. They pulled off a movie about going back in time to steal whales into some actually fun. 8/10

Those movies were great. Even the bad ones were enjoyable. I've always looked at The Voyage Home as a movie about problem solving. It ranks up there close to Wrath of Khan in greatness.

A few highlights for me...

When Kirk tells them to scatter and not stand around so suspiciously and they don’t know where to go really in 80’s San Fran.

Also when he gets the $100 and dishes it out to the crew like a pimp I had to laugh.

The late Spock was also good with his own humor throughout.

That’s what I liked about Star Trek. They could do an unconventional story like this.
