This was made in the 80s. I think you added in 3 or 4 more zeros than the movies budget ran.

I wonder what the actual budget was? If I had to take a guess, I'd say around $50,000-$100,000.

The model work wasn't too bad. They definitely skimped on the cost of actors, however I would still say this cost in the millions at least.

I mean the ships for sure looked like plastic Dixie cups glued onto the back of an Entenmann's box and spray painted grey. And how about the pod bay doors that literally had Millennium Falcon toys glued onto them lmao.
