I'd say things have certainly gotten more annoyingly PC since this was made. The reaction alone would be worth remaking this.

Although you've post it just to get a rise, I agree it should be remade.

However, a more socially aware movie exploring the difference in culture, positive and negative discrimination...and much better make up, would be great

What's more annoying than "annoyingly PC" is morons who have no idea what "politically correct" actually means. About 98% of the time, those people say 'politically correct' why they really just mean 'don't be a dick'.
