This isn't a good movie, but the premise could work. Dystopian future movies seem to be the rage. I'm only in favor of reboots when the first attempt is a failure,so pretty much most of Stephen Kings book adaptations,with a few exceptions.

Wont work at all. Solarbabies is one of the trashiest fantasy movies of the 80s. Yes, it was post apocalyptic. But have you seen how thos guys handled the armageddon? With a smile and neon colored clothing. And 80s style rollerblades :) .

Its perfect cheesiness. Without it would be just a waste of time.

Yes, but you're seeing it from a "so bad it's good" standpoint, which I agree it is. I'm saying they should actually make it good from the start,lol.

they' probably make it totally different. you could go a million ways with this movie. it may not even be a bout a magic orb anymore.

Very possible, but the orb was pretty random anyway.

This generation deserves an updated post-apocalyptic teen roller hockey movie.

It should be a line for line and shot for shot remake, but now it's hover skates.
