I watched this movie recently. It wasn't Depp's best....he was still very young. He plays a teenager from a weathly family that gets kidnapped. I would watch it if you are a true Depp fan though! You have to see them all! :)

Im glad someone asked that quetion cuz I was wonderin the same thing. I saw it at my video store but I quetioned it. So now the next time I go, I will pick up that move, along w/ Sleepy Hollow! (I have seen it but i forgot it) hehe!
shareI saw this a looooooooong time ago. I should re-watch it. I know I enjoyed it when I saw it, but that was the 80's. So I dunno if I'd enjoy it now. Should most definitely re-watch.

I have, I saw it randomly at a local pawn shop strangely enough, and of course just had to buy it! I watched it with my friend and we both honestly couldn't wait for it to end. He's not in it that much, actually he's pretty irrelevent. But if you're a Johnny fan then you should still try to check it out.

shareSorry I don't think I could be of much help, I can just say try eBay. I'm actually trying right now to get the other Johnny movies I havn't seen (ie The Brave and Cannes Man). How did you get a hold of The Brave?

I got a copy of an Asian Region 0 pressing of "The Brave" off of eBay... it was in a box set with "Piano II/The Man Who Cried." I just saw the same set on amazon.com, but it was much more expensive there... although they do have "the Brave" as a dvd that's not yet released, so maybe it's going to finally come out in the US!
Just be careful about purchasing off of eBay! There are a TON of bootleggers out there! Don't buy bootlegs! No stealing from Johnny!!
Thanks! And I definitely won't. I've made that mistake before with some CD's I bought, which was weird because I always check the items over and over before I actually bid.

that windmill in this picture looks tiny. the scene with the phone while the girl in picture, it looked like the dude talking. this dvd release was another case of an early work by an actor huge today put on the frontcover as if he was the leading man, when the part actually is quite tiny.
