Friday the 13th music?

I just watched this movie for the first time and I thought that some of the music during the chase scenes sounded awfully familiar. Sounded like the music from one of the Friday the 13th movies..don't remember which one but maybe in the 4-7 range. I didn't see this discussed anywhere so I was just wondering if anyone knew if this was music from F13 (they DID have a reference to Jason in the movie). Thanks to anyone with answers!

I think there's a snippet of the classic "cha-cha-cha" whenever they say the name Jason.

Don't know if you'll ever see this reply since the question was two years ago but the person behind the music is the same who did the music for Friday the 13th. The music is extremely similar, if not nearly the same at times with a little difference added in there to make it "different".

You are right, the composer is Harry Manfredi, who did the scores for the first 5 Friday the 13ths and Slaughter High.

reply

Maybe the productions told him to do it but the movie was not that famous as we can tell

Jason fan till dead!!!

I just love the music from this film. Harry Manfredini is one of the best horror movie score composers there is.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

Agreed, the music is one of the best parts of "Slaughter High"!!!
