Sin of Innocence

I read where some one said that it is hard to believe
the movie is over twenty years old.
My son was in the movie as Kyle and now he is
grown with two little children of his own.
I always thought that they should have made a
second movie. I think it would have been nice to see
the couple make it back together.
It was filmed in Florida and Loren was one of the
only cast members from Florida. Just about all the main
cast came in from California. Loren only made one other
film after Sin of Innocence "In the line of duty FBI murders"
after that he just wanted to be a kid. I am glad people
still enjoy the film.

I just got my copy today. I ordered it from www.rarevideo.ca if anyone out there is interested. They're in Canada and they have it on VHS.

I thoroughly enjoyed the film and thought it was very well done and well-acted all around. Your son was very believable in the role of Kyle and very sweet. I'm a Dermot fan and will watch anything of his that I can get my hands on. Yes, while I was watching it I found it hard to believe that he was 20 years younger. He was hot even then. Any stories you can recall about him? LOL!

Thanks for sharing. I could tell it was filmed in Florida but I was wondering where exactly. IMDb didn't say. As a kid, I spent many summers and Christmases in SW Florida and some of the outdoor locales looked vaguely familiar.

Hope you respond.

Thanks for the rare video web site Cathy. I ordered a copy as soon as I saw your message. Actually, I already have a copy I got off ebay but it's not very good. Someone taped it from TV so it's blury and still has many commercials. That hasn't kept me from watching it many times however. So happy to find an original copy! Thanks again!!

The quality of my copy is not the best unfortunately but it's the only place I know of to get it. I hope your copy is better. They're all probably used rentals and since they're also old, the quality has deteriorated over the years. I guess we're all used to looking at crisp DVD's and have gotten spoiled. At least they don't have any commercials!

Hi,
There are 2 versions of this movie, the original cbs airing and the Lifetime one. The main difference is a scene of Dermot in his underwear banging his head on a bunkbed and a swimming scene and missing from the Lifetime version.
Which one is at that website?

This is the original CBS version. The scenes you mentioned are in it. I never really knew it ran on Lifetime. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these scenes, and if a network can air them, then I don't what Lifetime's problem is.
