There have always been women like that throughout time. People knew who they were even though they did not necessarily flaunt it as some do today. Nowadays, even young girls who are considered wholesome role models for young girls, like Taylor Swift, have a series of boyfriends and lovers. Not too long ago, good girls got married young and were still virgins. It seems we, as a society, have trouble finding a middle ground; people are always either on one extreme or the other.

If you haven't yet seen it, consider watching Design for Living with Gary Cooper and Frederic March. It was made in the early 1930's yet the subject matter is very similar. Personally, I much prefer the subtle way in which that movie is presented.
