I love it!

Mike kind of 80's slasher. This is uber-cheesy. No plot, no character development, just starts right off with killings, with a generic killer. The teens even drink generic beer. And what was with the magician scene, like total filler to save writing generic dialog. And it at a good amount of generic nudity.

The film is filled with murderer enactments with breather moments and eye-candy in between. Kevin Costners debut looked like an after-thought. It seemed as though the actors were all family and friends. 'Lust for Freedom' made a year later, included a lot of them - and for some, the only acting they did. The woman with the kid was the best one there.

I don't know what is wrong with the world - but I know how to fix it.

I remember renting this back in the good old days where there was a video store on every corner it seemed. When I read somewhere that Kevin Costner was in this I had to dig up my old VHS player and watch the previously viewed copy I bought two decades ago.

As for the movie itself I think it set the record on the number of women who get topless or totally nude before being killed. I wonder if it was censored though. The scene in the kitchen where the nude woman is making coffee she sees the killer and starts screaming. Then it cuts to her dopey boyfriend in the bedroom just laying there and not rushing to see what's happening. Then it cuts back and she is (apparently) being held in the air and all we see is her legs flailing about.

Overall the movie is kind of lame. Same ol' same ol' just with more nudity thrown in.
