White Slave vs. Amazonia

I just watched both versions back to back. (FullMoon's Grindhouse Collection: White Slave and Shriek Show's Amazonia) The movies have roughly the same run time, but white slave has a thank you at the beginning of it.

The movies are identical in content. There are no extra scenes not shown in the other. The differences are in quality. Full Moon really did put out a Grindhouse version. The audio and video are of poorer quality than the Shriek Show version. In one instance the dialogue drops out for two seconds in White Slave, but the dialogue is uninterrupted in Amazonia. The only other difference is that White Slave by Full Moon is shown 1.33:1 aspect ration while Amazonia by Shriek Show is 1.78:1 Anamorphic Widescreen.


In conlusion, the only real difference is the audio and video quality. If you prefer a Grindhouse feel then buy White Slave. If you prefer a better picture and audio quality buy Amazonia. I hope this was helpful.
