Just saw this movie.. and i'm interested in whatever happened to the real Richard Boyle... is he still alive? I've done a pretty extensive Google search and i haven't been able to find anythings about him after co-writing the screenplay for Salvador...

I really reccomend the DVD. The documentary, "Into the Valley of Death", is some 60 minutes long, and have interviews with Stone, Boyle, James Woods and James Belushi... among others. It's one of the best DVD documentaries I know of, just great. A lot of information, and Boyle is very prominent here.
