Keanu's Sister's Baby Doll

Anyone else find this entire funeral for a toy bizarre? Not just the fact of the funeral in itself, but the kid mourns excessively for an extended period of time, engaging in formal rituals as a funeral? Since I'm on here, who else had a difficult time containing laughter each time the little brother, "Tim" appeared and spoke, on screen? This entire movie is like Lars and The Real Girl meets Stand By Me lol.

I think the funeral for the doll was to show that the detached youth showed more dignity to a doll than their "friend".

I seriously had to check the cast list.🐭

It shows that a child, who has not yet been sullied and desensitized by society has more love and respect for a toy than the teens do for an actual human life. It shows us the loss of innocence of the older characters.
