It kills me how a lot of Hoppers crap movies such as Night Tide and Mad Dog Morgan get transferred to dvd, but then his good movies like this or White Star don't see the light of day in North America. I had to order the vhs of this movie off ebay for $30 just so I could watch it! Stupid.

I'm not sure what to tell you. I've been searching for this film for nearly as long as the b-29 in the film was in the air.
It's a quirky film from what I recall, and because of that it may not have a large market appeal. Ergo no DVD. One or a low priced blu ray will probably get published in time.
p.s. it's also just a whacked out film. Cult following kind of stuff. Monty Python for Americans, if you like that sort of thing.
Agreed. This funny far-out gem is long overdue for a Region 1 DVD release.

I recall seeing parts of this on late night TV some time in the 90's (I think) and have never seen it anywhere else since then. The odd thing is that I remember thinking at the time that I had seen this previously but don't know when or where.
They say the first thing to go is the mind and, um, what was I saying? Oh yeah, just exactly WHO are "they"?
