Hey Folks:

I always wanted a couple of things. They are:

1. Where can I find the DVDs of this show?
2. Remember that beautiful strange lady that would show up in each of the episodes? I am talking about the fact that sometimes Mike Hammer would be out in the street, in an automobile or even sitting in a chair drugged and the mysterious woman would appear. What was her name and who was the actress that played her?

If anyone can answer any of my two questions, then please let me know. Thank you very much.

it's been 8 years so no idea if you're still monitoring for answers... but the 1997 'revival?' "Mike Hammer Private Eye" Featured Rebecca (sometimes Rebekah) Chaney as 'The Face'

That show is on DVD...

this one I have found no signs of save for a Double DVD Box for the 'Pilot Movies' More than Murder and Murder Me, Murder You

the Main Page here cites Donna Denton as 'the face' for this show and 2 of the 3 Pilot Movies (More than Murder, and 'Return...') with no one credited as such for 'Murder Me, murder You'

Actually there were two different actresses. If you are talking about the early TV series version with Stacy Keach it was Donna Denton that played The Face, it was a different actress Chaney in the later movie in 1997.... The problem is the show had a long delay in first version on TV in 1983 until Keach was arrested for drugs and in prison for a while... then they brought the show back for a short while... before the even longer hiatus until the 1997 movie. And while Hammer was played by the same actor the actress doing The Face changed.
