SEQUEL

Sadly the two lead actors are dead, but Cora Venus Lunny (the daughter Minty Hallenbeck) could return for it.
Simon Kelly (the kid Neil Johnson) could maybe return for it

I'd prefer a sequel to a remake because
1. Most that saw him were basically killed, and it would be easy to 'hide' Rex from the public again
2. There's all sorts of cool story elements that could be used because the original (and Barker's story too I would assume) did a surprisingly good
job of establishing the rex backstory, but did it without giving too much detail away for future editions.
3. It would honor the memory of actors and crew who passed away better than a remake
4. It would generate interest in the original, which really is a fun movie.. Watching rex go king kong throughout the movie was great, but the actors and crew did a good job as well for what was likely a small budget

Star Wars TFA is the 7th best Star Wars movie ever made

There will never be a sequel to this, it's way too late, Barker hates it, and the movie bombed. I'd like a sequel too, but I don't see it ever happening at this point.

I never saw it. Was Rawhead a "UK" Troll ?

More like an ancient pagan god/ demonic beast type creature.

A sequel would be great but I highly doubt it will ever happen.

I'd rather see a remake of this movie closer to Clive Barker's story.

I don't mind this movie. The creature looked stupid in my opinion.

reply

Yeah that would be cool but apparently Clive Barker wanted the monster to resemble a giant phallus.
