I didnt even know there was a movie of Rawhead Rex untill a few minutes ago. Well I used Yahoo to look at the pictures of Rawhead and yeah it sucks real bad. One thing, when I first read the story in the Books of Blood I thought that RHR was huge, a giant monster. I havnt seen it yet but i kninda know why Clive didnt like it.

shareYes, I agree. It is a terrible movie. But, like Alien Predator, Man-Thing, and Leprechaun, it's fun to watch with friends while drinking beers and doing your own version of MST3K.
Still, it was better than Darkness.
Plus, was this ever in theaters?

I really like Rawhead Rex, it's classic IMHO. Sure it's cheesy alot, but it's fun to watch, no too slow pacing, and bloody a little, and the monster have some kind of background that was not so bad. It's not perfect, and it can have been better, but still good.
Nightbreed was OK, probably better than Rawhead, but I can help but think that all the Midian monsters looked like a bunch of people dressed for an halloween party. At some point in the movie you don't know if you are looking Labyrinth with David Bowie or Hellraiser.

Say what? Rawhead Rex looked more like a Gamorean Guard from Star Wars EP 6. He looked menacing but a little cheesy. His face needed more animation.
