RAW DEAL is a very solid - and wholly underrated - action movie, but I refuse to watch it again because almost every violent scene is visibly censored for gore, presumably to get an R rating instead of an X (this was pre-NC-17). If an uncut version ever surfaces on Blu-Ray, I'll gladly buy it... But until then I'm boycotting this glaringly sanitized film.

I had it on VHS as a kid and it was super gory. Lots of swearing too but the DVD was heavily censored. I came specifically to this board to see if there was more then one version.

I share your disappointment. If you happen to learn of a proper version, don't keep it a secret. I'll do the same.
