Does this movie exist?

I can't find this anywhere. I can't find it online (e.g. YouTube) either... not so much as a trailer. I'm convinced this movie no longer exists.

It exists, just not in the public domain at the moment. I'm sure there are at least a few other people out there like me who have it on tape. It's just that no one has bothered to transfer it from VHS yet, including me.

I've been thinking about transferring it myself, but my copy is old and in poor condition. I bought my copy of Ratboy secondhand with a bunch of other tapes for $1 back in 1989-90 from a video store that was going out of business. The tape has seen better days, and probably won't transfer well to a digital format.

I too am in need of some "Ratboy". My aunt saw it on television back in the 80s and told me how AMAZINGLY weird it was. I've wanted to see it ever since!!

I found a VHS copy as well. I'd love to hear Locke in a director commentary when this is finally transferred to DVD. Someone out there needs to give this project it's due.

Just because movies fall into obscurity does not mean they don't "exist" – just that there isn't a huge demand for them. I found this on VHS at a record store for $2.99, which is more than I usually spend for movies, but it's one I rarely see in the bins these days. I saw it on cable in the '80s, and it's OK.
