'Thunder in your Heart' Tomb Raider ad??

Just noticed this this morning.. haven't been able to find it online yet so far though.. It ran during "Suits" last night.. and it was an ad for the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot that had a remake of the song "Thunder in Your Heart".. glad I stopped skipping the ads to actually check it out.

Correction.. I don't think its a REMAKE. Just edited down in a couple places.. Not quite sure its from the same recording in RAD.. but it may have just been cleaned/spiffed up a bit.

...I have no idea whose idea it was to pair a somewhat obscure soundtrack song with a commercial for a modern video game, but I'd like to buy them a bowl of Kix. That's definitely not the version from the film, though it kinda sounds like John Farnham. A new recording perhaps?

When I was doing my search I got hits for recent comments on various youtube videos of "Thunder in your heart" that said "Tomb Raider brought me here.", so a whole new generation is being exposed to this incredible song .

Okay, now this is interesting. I knew the version used in the ad wasn't the original by John Farnham, but what I didn't know was that it was a new recording by the king of the inspirational rock montage, Stan Bush!

The ad just aired on WWE Raw. I did a double take..I was that's from Rad.

Also.. if you frequent Tosh.0 he's DEFINITELY a RAD nerd as well.. He actually had Bill Allen .. well I'm not sure if he was playing himself or reprising his character from RAD.. but it ends with Tosh in his skit saying "We oughta go to Helltrack and burn that mother down"..

I almost fell off my chair.. He's a huge 80s pop culture nerd, or at least his writing staff is. He's had riffs on Kobra Kai (even had Martin Kove in a cameo reprising Crease) among others...

EDIT *** Bill is clearly playing himself in the bit.. even Tosh stumbles referring to him first as Cru..

Why! Why! Hasn't someone cashed in on this movie! It's crazy.the soundtrack the movie. A remake etc. I would gladly let them borrow my fully restored GT. correct era & correct parts on bike to look just like they did in this movie. I know some other guys that would do the same! I have a decent copy of rad. Has bar code I've scanned it took pics. Nowhere to be found. Songs are nowhere on iTunes either! What's up? I would love to have rad on my phone to watch when I'm stuck somewhere on the go.
