Realism?
I know it's only a movie, but in a real-world BMX event, would a promoter be able to change the the rules, on-the-fly, to prevent one racer from participating? I mean, Cru qualified as per the rules in effect when he ran the trials. But then that sleazy lawyer tries to keep him out by stating that he needed a sponsor & then further, by stating that said sponsor had to have $50,000 minimum in sales. Seems like discrimination to me. And second, after one of the twins kicks Cru off the track (during the final event), wouldn't he have been disqualified?
