Helltrack race

I noticed in the final lap of Helltrack at the cereal bowl Cru clearly doesn't rid up the spoon, he just jumps out of the bowl and they cut the next scene. You have to ride up the spoon to safely land that jump because of the huge mound, Cru would have wiped out right there and Bart would have won.

Also why did Bart stop to let Cru catch up? He never at one point would have let Cru catch up for a close finish, he even wiped out his own teammate, he hated Cru and he lost out on thousands of dollars and a sponsorship, really stupid of him to do that.

Bart slowed down to let Cru catch up so that he could toy with him and then leave him in the dust (which ultimately backfired on him). Essentially, Bart was annoyed that Cru was cutting in on everything he was doing. One such example is the scene at the dance, where Cru replaced him during the Bike Boogie sequence (he wasn't please watching the scene, and he even gets onto the Twins for cheering along with everyone else). Basically, Bart was trying to pull a Seabiscuit move, and it failed.

It seems that you were not paying attention to the movie. Bart had honor, and wanted to know that he was the best. He did did not like what Duke was doing to Cru (you could see it in his face, and the way he acted). Remember when Duke told the twins to take down Cru? Bart says "that's bull *beep* Bart really turned out to be a good guy. He was really stuck up and full of himself at the beginning, but you could see him change for the better as the movie went forward. He still thought he was the best, but he wanted Cru to have his fair shot, and he wanted to know that he could beat Cru fairly.

Bart wanted Cru 1 on 1. No games or cheating. He wanted to see who was the best.
