Just my take on it but, aside from the junkyard battle scene, I think Superman III sucks. I love Psycho III however, so it's no contest.

Strange but somewhat relevant as both were big name franchises that gradually declined in quality as rated by popular opinion as they progressed through the 1980s. Probably would be more relevant if these films were released in the same year but Superman III came out in 1983.
