Perkins looking crazier than ever

His expression when he walks past the motel to meet 'mother' in cabin 12 gets me everytime. That nervous smile is pure genius

Tanner than ever as well. Must've been hanging out with the Jersey Shore crew.

imagen typecasted as a madman an entire career, i don't remember much of the other psycho movies that didn't star perkins ("bates motel" and the remake of the first movie), i guess they just lacked perkins intensive presence found in these 1-4 movies. i didn't think about it before, but when i catched these (2 and 3) airing again on a german channel a few days ago (don't know why exactly these two played), it appeared perkins had aged alot between the 2nd movie and 3rd, in the 2nd he still had that boyish appearance, or maybe it was just the hairstyle, but here he looks quite older. alot of odd camera shots in this third movie wich i guess was kind of a hip shooting style at the time. already by the end of the 2nd movie i started to be confused how many moms norman had collected anyway, i lost track of all the different old ladies and corpses. the tune during the end credits sound a bit too cheerful doesn't it.

blooming a quick visit to dry land,
since a changing climate took all flowers away,
bringing water to the desert sand,
and building up withering plants,
slipping in different flavours from a hand,
turn me on like no other can,
a quick energy dance in this once full blooming land.

Drug use and possibly the onset of AIDS had taken it's toll.
