The obvious question is.....

Was 'Fresh Prince Of Bel Air' a play on words that stemmed from this movie. The movie came out four years earlier than the Will Smith comedy series. It seems to close to be just coincidence? But if it wasn't, why? Why would the producers of FPOBA feel they needed or wanted to parody a title of an off-comedy that had little to do with the TV Series plot?
