Why do people act...

...as if Duckie ends up all alone at the prom at the end of the movie? It's like they forget that he ends up with Kristy Swanson at the end! I don't get it. And I'd say Duckie ends up pretty lucky at the end. Swanson is way hotter than Molly Ringwald. I'll take Swanson over Ringwald any day. I never understood why people seem to forget that part of the ending.
