Platoon 2 Coming home in a body bag

How would you do it? I think we can deduce from Taylor's comments that the war was over for him at the end of the film. Maybe you could have a story where his son or grandson fights in Iraq or Afghanistan while they recount stories that Taylor told about his experiences in the Vietnam War.

Or you could just make a sequel about Charlie Sheen's train wreck of a life that went off the tracks some time ago. That may be worse than any war movie one could produce.

But I do wonder what became of Taylor after the war? He probably became a productive member of society and settled down, the very thing he had trepidations about earlier in the movie. Wonder if killing Barnes haunted him the rest of his life or if he felt completly okay with it. My guess is the latter.
