Scott and Beth

Love the locket with Peggy's two children that Charlie hands her and it's really Peggy and Charlie as children. She sort of realizes she needs him.

that's why she stays with Charlie, without him- there would be no Scott and Beth.

Me, I think it was the pics of Scott and Beth. Bcz at the reunion that’s what she said. And as a mother, surely she would know that she put pictures of her own babies in her treasured locket?

Like much of this film, there’s more than one reality. It could be one thing, or it could be the other! Maybe that’s part of the reason why this movie captivates me so. I’ve watched it at least a dozen times and I wish that it was longer, or had a sequel, or?

Another thing though, about that scene where Charlie gives her the locket. She opens it and she says “Scott and Beth!” and Charlie says “WHO are Scott and Beth?? Your mother gave those to me, that’s you and me, you know that!” and she replies “so do they”.

Hunh???

What does she mean: “so do they”?

I take it that “they” is Scott and Beth?
