This film is so good!

I just wanted to say that this film makes me so happy whenever I watch it, despite the sadness of much of the subject matter- it really manages to bring alive a whole believable world of three-dimensional characters and their relationships, [and I still cry every time at the "...and now he's gone, right?" "No- he's right here" scene.]
It's easy to identify with the characters despite being neither male or gay [or American!]- it's all about love and friendship and loss, & it does these themes so well.
I first saw it when I was around Peter's age, now I'm Michael's age.
Still love it very much.
