Anyone else love this movie?

I checked it out a while back and have seen many times since. Very obscure 80's action, and put down a lot by most who have seen it. I will be the first to admit that certain areas of the script could have used more work. No doubt. But truly, I found it to be one of the most enjoyable films I've ever seen. And this is coming from someone who has seen all of the great action films from the 80's. This one truly stood out for me. Non stop action and thrills, a decent story, lots of bad guys, a cool soundtrack, and a nice little love story thrown in there. I don't know why the director didn't do more after this. His previous film, Tightrope, was a cool film too. I also thought that Jenny Wright and Jeff Kober did tremendous in this film. Truly the film's highlights. The rest of the cast did good too. Just a fun film all around. At least I thought so. I truly loved it.

I saw it on TV years ago and I just got through watching it tonight, as last October, I found the original VHS tape at a HalfPrice Books for 50 cents. I think it's a great film. Deserves a DVD release.

Hi.
My name is Paula Bettencourt
Of Somerset
Massachusetts.
I'm a movie buff and a videophile.
Lately I've been getting into Blu-Ray/but I would love to see Out of bounds .
With Anthony Micheal Hall and Jenny Wright.
Released on a good quality DVD with a anamorphic 16x9 transfer.
I've emailed Sony pictures many times .
Begging for them to release this movie on DVD.I have a bootleg that I bought on ioffer/but I don't like it too much.
I hate bootlegs and all it is is a strate dupe from a old prerecorded VHS Studio tape.
I feel your pain .
And I google this movie all the time.
And hope that by some maricle it gets released on DVD.

I'm surprised to see so many new posts from people who like this movie. Makes me feel better. I used to think I was silly for liking it. It had no real star power in it, so I think the movie has just rested in obscurity ever since its release. It deserves at least a good DVD.

You described it well. It's a "fun" movie. Reminds me of a 2-hour long episode of "The Equalizer," with even more action. I loved it as a kid, and it still isn't bad.

yeah I loved it when i was a kid and still do. It's entertainment, I don't get why entertainment has to be picked apart. It is what it is.

Marty. Y'know what we got here? MotherF&%kin' Charlie Bronson. Mr. Majestyk

Agreed, it was a great quickie action flick and it definitely didnt hurt it was one of the few 1980s era films where Anthony Michael Hall was the front and center lead. He should've gotten more lead roles back in the day.

This is an 80s guilty pleasure of mine. I remember watching it back when it first came out and several times after. I loved the energy and nonstop action. I haven't seen it in a while, but this is definitely one of those 80s flicks that I enjoyed and would still watch even today.

Great flick indeed. Just finished revisiting it. Love Jeff Kober in this role. Hes great in The First Power also. Ultimate bad guy from the eighties in my book.
