Kinda odd

The film was written by two guys who are known to be Grateful Dead fans, and reportedly, the movie was indeed named of the Grateful Dead song One More Saturday Night. But the title song in the film isn't the Grateful Dead song, it's not even a cover recording, it's a completely different song. I've always wondered how that came to be.
