Savage Steve Holland Spoils...

...the viewer rotten with an absolute glut of hilarious visual puns and scenarios.

While (slightly) less broad and spoofy than the Zucker/Abrahams movies, OCS has enough going on in most scenes that you'll find something new to laugh at each time you see it. Eg. Teddy's digression about Cassandra's Corn "Husks" and Hoops' cat's house with the heads of garden kills displayed as trophies on the side.

OCS has a slightly warmer feel than Better Off Dead and I reckon that OCS is of equal calibre and definitely a prettier movie to look at.

One last thought,

Matt Mulhern spends a lot of this movie smacking people around the head, and I always wonder if the bit where he clips Cusack on the back of his head, as he prepares to throw a basketball, was improvised.
