Summer movie from the 80s?

ok...this has nothing to do with this movie but does anyone know the name of the movie where it is set in a summer camp and a kid is reading the gun bible and one guy has a wet dream or something like that. The main characters are lifeguards and camp councilors. I saw it on t.v. once like 5 years ago and I thought it was this movie but I rented it and I was wrong. I remember it having the word summer in the title.

The only movie I can think of that you may be talking about is "Meatballs"There was a few of these movies,so 1 might have "Summer"in the title...It had Bill Murray in it.

nope. Wet Hot American Summer is not even an 80's movie and there is no gun bible, and no wet dreams in WHAS. I love that movie, though.

Only camp movie I can think of with the word "summer" in the title is "Indian Summer." Doesn't really fit your description though and it was made in the early 90s. Great movie though!

I think i know what you're talking about! I think that kid from the Goonies is in it. Cory something.... And in it he even says "i was in the goonies" [breaking the fourth wall!]

And if its not that could it be "Camp Nowhere"?...awesome flick!

The Corey Feldman someone referred to is Meatballs 4. There's also Poison Ivy with Michael J, Fox (not the same as the Drew Barrymore film)
