Godzilla scene + Arrested Development

I only saw One Crazy Summer for the first time and was pleasantly surprised when the Godzilla scene with Bobcat came up - namely because it made sense that the TV show Arrested Development did a very similar scene (can't remember who was involved) but it did involve a model scale town and someone trampling through in a suit - it's nice to find out stuff you like actually came from somewhere else - proof that it's all been done before? perhaps.
