Scary as hell

This ranks on the same level as the better Amicus Anthology films (Tales from the Crypt and Asylum). This left me scared for a couple of days after I saw this. I still can't get over the Carnival story. A lot of the characters from the series Night Gallery were in this (Martine Biswick, Vincent Price, Cameron Mitchell).

Just a few questiosn though (spoilers)

















1. Wonder if the old man in the first story actually lived. The way they talked after the story ended, he was still alive, but not in the frame of mind)

2. Was the Carnival still going on at the time of Tyrell and Price's conversation in the library? If Price knew about Amrillis' case, wouldn't the police be involved?

3. Wonder if the old man in the third segment was convicted or if they traced what happened to Jessee back to him. Obviously, the librarian knew about these horrible incidents of the past, and if he knew about them, wouldn't the police as well?
