This Film is Riddled with Coincidence

First, it was originally going to be called The Witch, in which the main character has cancer and needs to sleep with a witch to cure it. This was changed however, but the weird thing is that Tarkovsky had cancer when making the film. He was not cured sadly.

Next, when filming the burning house, the camera jammed and they had to rebuild it completely and redo it. The cinematographer was Sven Nykvist who is renowned for working with Bergman. Apparently, Bergman was shooting a film nearby, and it's his 'curse' which jammed the camera.

Thirdly, the film is about World War III. There were some predictions for the war to happen in July 86 I believe, in Sweden. Did this film stop it?

Finally, when I watched this film for the first time, 16/07/16, the Turkish coup happened, and that jet flew low, just like in this film.
