Was anyone else amazed by the ending (SPOILER ALERT)?
I mean, usually in a movie like this, you'd expect Jackie Gleason's character to die in the end, because that's what usually does happen. The fact that Gleason's character doesn't die is just amazing, and in that regard, this movie really does deserve a lot of credit for defying cliches and conventions. And when you take into account that Gleason actually was dying IRL at the time this movie was shot, that just makes it even
more astonishing. Just, wow.
All those who hate Katherine Heigl can eat s-t and die!!!
