Would this movie (spoilers)

have been better if it was told simply from Pierce Brosnan's POV? Rather than have his memories somehow conveyed into the doctor's?
The movies perspective adds a little mystery at the beginning but ultimately adds very little. The Doctor's character adds very little to the overall plot. Well, except you get to see her being scared of Brosnan's memories of being scared.

So it adds a layer of dreamlike quality but this could also be achieved by simply showing Brosnan wondering if he's lost his marbles, going without sleep etc.

BTW - I enjoyed the old scenes of LA. Particularly the Chili dogs place (forget the name) used to be an allnight hangout.

Sig, you want a sig, here's a SIG-sauer!

part of the movie's strength comes from not following the usual formula of most movies,
it really adds to the atmosphere & style throughout the picture, not just the beginning
