Fat Tuesday

I have been reading a book by Sandra Brown called Fat Tuesday. Great book, but I found it funny that it brought my memory back to this great thriller I saw as a teen. Love this movie and love this book, but the movie was made in 1986. The book was written in 1998. Hmmmmmm, intriguing! The stories are so similiar, even down to Kim Basigner's last name (Duvall). The only thing different right away is Losado's character (Pinkie Duvall) is a lawyer, not a crime lord.
