Always wondered about this

Just recently watched this after many years and it reminded me of the scene when Chris and Cynthia are in the tool shed and one of the zombies grabs her and she starts shouting "Brad". It feels like an oops, but that's a pretty bad goof to have made it through editing and into the final product. Any idea if there was some type of intention behind that, or is it a massive f***up?

'Course, there's also the scene where a girl's legs are transparent. 80's low budge cheese-fest at its finest.
